Business Plan

"To be the best Category B Training Prison in the country." This is at the heart of all of our work and remains our vision for the future.

Our Business Plan, with this at its core, aims to support the National Offender Management Serice in meeting its business objectives by working closely with the new East Midlands Director of Offender Management. We aim to protect the public, reduce re-offending and prepare prisoners for release.

We aim to focus fully on the development and engagement of our staff, as well as our structures, procedures and policies. In order to do this we have put in place a comprehensive Business Plan that clearly sets out our Four Step Model, Operational Philosophy and our Service Delivery Model.

History tells us that organizations whose reason for being is to remain the same lose ground and ultimately die. This is why our business plan is focusing on the future and ways to continue to move forward. By using the innovative approach to problem solving that has helped us grow and develop in the past we aim to continue growing and improving our service so that we can live up to our vision of being the "best Category B Training Prison in the country".
