Our Service Delivery Model focuses on delivering a contract that is high performing with excellence at its core.

We have taken a thematic approach that cuts across all areas. This ensures a greater understanding of how each area interlinks with another. This understanding in turn leads to a greater appreciation of areas outside an individuals experience and thus increases our performance.

We ensure that our prison is:

Secure

We will create an environment where physical, dynamic and procedural security are combined with a Zero Tolerance approach to drugs, alcohol and mobile phones to create a highly secure prison.

Safe

Our positive and proactive culture, supported by robust procedures for risk management, violence reduction, suicide prevention, equal opportunities and misconduct will create a safe environment.

Responsible

Our prison promotes responsible behaviour. Responsible behaviour from prisoners, staff and visitors is delivered through effective offender management, activity provision (including programmes), restorative justice measures, pro-social modelling, help for prisoners to reduce the demand for drugs, family support and staff training.

Decent

Our prison is decent. We provide access for all prisoners to practice their faith. We meet and exceed multi-cultural needs and are richly diverse. We provide quality accommodation and food and support and nurture on-going contact with the family.

Efficient

Efficiency is created through simplicity. Simplicity of design, flow and movement. Supported by proven technology, we are better able to engage our staff, schedule staff and prisoner activity, re-engineer processes, remove wastage and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
