HMP Lowdham Grange is concerned with the security and safety of all within its walls be they prisoners or visitors. We want you to enjoy your visits to our prison and our security measures are there to keep both you and the person you are visiting safe.
To visit the prison ALL visitors need suitable ID. First time visitors need both photo ID and proof of address. Without these admittance will not be allowed.
Visitors are required to leave all belongings in lockers in the Visit Room before being allowed in to the visiting space. Any items that have been brought for the prisoner need to be cleared by our staff first and our staff will deliver them once this process has taken place.
All visitors go through security check involving a pat-down, belongings x-ray and drug dog clearance at the minimum.
These measures are in place and strictly adhered to in order to ensure continued safety within the prison for your family member within our care.
At HMP Lowdham Grange we understand the value of family relationships and maintaining them when planning for release.
